We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team. This full-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive preventive dental care while supporting our commitment to outstanding patient experiences.
Responsibilities include:
• Performing dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance procedures
• Conducting comprehensive periodontal assessments and screenings
• Taking and reviewing diagnostic radiographs
• Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and overall dental health
• Identifying signs of periodontal disease and collaborating with the dentist on treatment planning
• Accurately documenting clinical findings and treatment notes
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilization
• Creating a positive, comfortable experience for patients while fostering long-term relationships
• Working collaboratively with dentists and team members to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications
• Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Illinois
• Certification to administer local anesthesia required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical knowledge of preventive dentistry and periodontal therapy
• Demonstrated proficiency in dental prophylaxis and periodontal assessments
• Understanding of common dental conditions and treatment procedures
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Strong attention to detail and accurate clinical charting
• Experience with digital radiography and dental practice management software preferred
• Friendly, compassionate demeanor and a team-oriented mindset
