Full Time Dental Assistant

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, reliable, and detail-oriented dental assistant with previous experience in a periodontal or surgical dental setting. You will work closely with the periodontist to provide excellent care to our patients, assist with surgical procedures, maintain sterilization protocols, and ensure smooth clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

Chairside assisting during perio exams and procedures
Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Assisting with implant placements, grafting, and other advanced procedures
Maintaining operatory cleanliness and proper sterilization protocols
Preparing surgical trays and materials
Educating patients on post-op care and oral hygiene
Recording patient notes and updating charting in the practice management system
Supporting front office staff when needed
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience, preferably in a perio or surgical setting
Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Knowledge of Curve is a plus
Team-oriented, dependable, and organized

Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4 PM
