A well-established general dentistry practice in Decatur is looking for a skilled, reliable Dental Assistant who shares this mission. We use modern technology, including digital X-rays and intraoral scanning, in a practice that values genuine patient relationships as much as clinical excellence.

What You'll Do
Assist chairside during a wide range of general dental procedures
Take and process digital X-rays
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories to strict infection-control standards
Take digital intraoral scans as needed
Communicate clearly and warmly with patients to help them feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care
Maintain accurate clinical records in Dentrix
Support inventory management and supply ordering as needed
What We're Looking For
Current dental assistant certification/registration (GA requirements) — X-ray certification required
1+ years of chairside experience preferred
Comfortable with digital technology (intraoral scanners, digital imaging)
A genuine passion for patient education and building trust with patients
Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player in a fast-paced environment
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
