Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Waukegan, ILJoin Our Dynamic Dental Team as a Dental Assistant!
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our thriving multi-specialty dental practice. If you have a passion for patient care and a solid foundation of dental knowledge, we want to hear from you!
Minimum 3-5 years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry practice with strong assisting experience with:
**Composite restorations and fillings
**Crown and bridge procedures
**Root canal/endodontic procedures
**Simple and surgical extractions
-Implant placement and restoration procedures
- Proficient in four-handed dentistry and maintaining efficient clinical flow
- Experience taking and processing digital X-rays and CBCT imaging preferred
- Knowledge of sterilization protocols, infection control, and OSHA compliance
- Ability to prepare operatories and set up trays for restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, and implant procedures
-Experience with temporary crowns, impressions, scanning/iTero, and intraoral cameras preferred
-Familiarity with dental software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.)
-Ability to educate patients on treatment plans, post-op instructions, and oral hygiene
-Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
-Current X-ray certification and Dental Assistant certification/license as required by state law
-CPR certification required
-Implant and oral surgery assisting experience strongly preferred

-Able to anticipate doctor needs during complex procedures
-Positive attitude with excellent patient care and professionalism
-Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
-Bilingual preferred

We offer competitive salaries ranging from $20-$28 per hour, based on your experience.
