Lead Dental Assistant
We are a growing, wellness-focused dental practice expanding into a more advanced biologic approach to dentistry, with an emphasis on whole-body wellness, patient-centered care, and exceptional clinical experiences.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant who is ready to take on greater responsibility and grow with our practice. This is more than a traditional assisting role — you will help lead clinical flow, support the doctor, mentor other assistants, and play an important role in our systems and patient experience.
Responsibilities
• Lead daily clinical flow and help keep the practice running efficiently
• Assist with advanced procedures including implants, CEREC, and biologic protocols (training provided)
• Mentor and support other dental assistants
• Anticipate the doctor and team’s needs and maintain excellent clinical organization
• Help create an exceptional, comfortable patient experience
• Contribute to improving clinical systems and workflow
Requirements
• 5+ years of dental assisting experience
• Maryland Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) license/certification
• Current Maryland radiology certification/license
• Strong clinical knowledge and organizational skills
• Comfortable taking initiative and stepping into a leadership role
• Willingness to learn advanced procedures and biologic protocols
