Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing, low-stress private general dentistry office. This is a full-time opportunity in a single-doctor practice that primarily serves PPO and private patients. We are looking for a dentist with at least 2 years of experience who is confident in providing comprehensive care and committed to delivering high-quality treatment in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills across a broad range of general dentistry procedures, including composite restorations, crowns, dentures, endodontics, extractions, restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, scaling and root planing, and restoring implants. Experience with cosmetic dentistry, operative dentistry, TMJ disorders, local anesthesia, treatment planning, and patient education is important. You should also be comfortable with dental charting, vital signs monitoring, oral hygiene instruction, and x-rays using digital systems.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients through clear explanations and compassionate care. Additional hands-on skills such as temp fabrication and experience using intraoral scanners are highly valued. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry and working efficiently alongside a dental team is essential. Experience with Eaglesoft, Medit, and Schick systems is preferred.
