Summary: The Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing preventive and periodontal-based dental treatment. Is an integral component of managing a patient’s oral care by gathering accurate information to properly treat the patient. The hygienist is to be a positive influencer through education based on the profession’s standards and being a compassionate liaison to the patient while upholding the company’s mission and vision. He/she is goal oriented and self-motivated that is highly driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Hygiene & Patient Care:
Perform cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling, root planing) and preventive treatments with precision and patient comfort in mind.
Assess, document, and communicate oral health status; take and interpret radiographs to support diagnosis.
Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
Encourage patient's to proceed with the care they need to help them live healthier lives.
Patient Education & Preventive Guidance:
Educate patients on oral hygiene and its connection to systemic health.
Clearly explain treatment plans, encourage preventive care, and tailor guidance to individual needs.
Team Collaboration & Workflow Efficiency:
Collaborate with the full team to deliver seamless care and maintain efficient patient flow.
Participate in huddles, share updates, and proactively assist teammates as needed.
Ownership & Professional Standards:
Manage all aspects of your operatory—setup, cleanup, inventory—with full ownership.
Stay informed through continuing education and contribute ideas for improvement.
Uphold clinic protocols and maintain a calm, positive demeanour under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience and Skills:
Licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing in Missouri.
Proficient in charting, radiographs, and using dental software systems.
Strong interpersonal skills—you connect well with patients and teammates.
Comfortable educating patients and speaking with clarity and confidence.
