Front Office Associate/Treatment Coordinator
Our growing specialty dental practice is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, guiding patients through their treatment journey, and helping them make informed decisions about their oral health.
As a key member of our team, you will serve as the bridge between our doctors, clinical staff, and patients, ensuring a seamless experience from consultation through treatment completion. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, confident discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner.
Help patients understand the value and benefits of recommended treatment.
Review insurance benefits and coverage to provide accurate treatment estimates.
Coordinate pre-authorizations and communicate with insurance carriers as needed.
Discuss financial arrangements and educate patients on available payment options.
Schedule treatment appointments to maximize patient acceptance and office efficiency.
Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment and maintain patient reactivation efforts.
Build strong relationships with patients to ensure an exceptional experience throughout their care.
Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members to ensure accurate treatment planning and documentation.
Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and financial information.
Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Assist with additional front office responsibilities and team initiatives as needed..
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental treatment coordinator, patient coordinator, or front office role.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and treatment planning.
Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements.
Knowledge of dental insurance verification, benefits, and claim processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with dental practice management software and Microsoft Office.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and patient-centered approach.
Ability to work full-time in-office, Monday through Friday.
