Part time and full time dental assistant for private practice
LOCATION
Thousand Oaks, CAWe are seeking a motivated dental assistant to join our growing team as we open a new location. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a dependable professional with 2 years of experience who is comfortable supporting a busy oral surgery/periodontal surgery practice and general dentistry practice. Our team also serves a multi-specialty and general patient base, offering a dynamic work environment with variety in daily responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has a high school education and strong clinical and administrative skills. Experience with Open Dental, DEXIS, intraoral camera, iTero, NOMAD Pro, and both digital and film X-rays is preferred. Cross-training is ideal, but not required. We value team members who are adaptable, organized, and committed to excellent patient care.
Responsibilities may include assisting chairside, preparing treatment rooms, taking radiographs, supporting implant and periodontal procedures, documenting clinical information, and helping maintain smooth patient flow. Professionalism, attention to detail, and a patient-focused attitude are essential.
We offer hourly pay and a supportive work environment with a 1-hour lunch break. PPE provided includes goggles, latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks to help promote safety and comfort in the workplace.
