The receptionist’s responsibilities will include answering patients’ questions, scheduling appointments, verifying dental insurances, and arranging referrals to other dental specialists.

Responsibilities can include:
Welcoming patients to the practice
Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed
Assisting patients in filling out forms
Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff
Scheduling follow-up appointments
Communicating with dental insurances
Verifying and collecting payments
Performing general office duties, such as answering phone calls, photocopying, filing, emailing, and faxing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Dental Receptionist Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Friendly personality and a great attitude
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Great attention to details
Willingness to learn new skills
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
One year experience in a dental office preferred
