Orthodontic Assistant

Smiles + Bites is a modern, family-owned orthodontic practice focused on thoughtful, personalized care and an elevated patient experience. As we prepare for our opening, we’re seeking an Orthodontic Assistant who is dependable, detail-oriented, patient-focused, and excited to grow with a positive long-term team.
This is a unique long term growth opportunity to join a private practice that focus on quality care, not corporate volume

Responsibilities:

-Assist the orthodontist during procedures including braces, aligners, adjustments, and debonds
-Prepare and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
-Take digital scans, photos, and radiographs (as permitted)
-Follow sterilization and OSHA protocols
-Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
-Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient clinic flow
-Assist with inventory and clinical setup

Qualifications:

-Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
-RDA (or eligibility) in Texas
-Radiology certification required
-Experience with digital scanners (iTero or similar) is a plus
-Strong communication skills and attention to detail
-Friendly, professional, reliable, and team-oriented
-Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the practice

Compensation & Schedule:

-Full-time
-Monday–Friday
-Pay: $19–$25/hour depending on experience
