Position Overview:
As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Nova Dental Care, you will play an essential role in delivering top-tier patient care, ensuring the comfort of our patients, and educating them on the best practices for maintaining optimal oral health. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who is patient-focused and a team player.

Responsibilities:
Perform thorough patient assessments including medical history reviews and periodontal charting.
Clean teeth, remove plaque, tartar, and stains, and provide other dental hygiene related treatments.
Take digital X-rays and perform diagnostic screenings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options.
Assist in the development of customized oral hygiene care plans.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants.
Record and update patient information and treatment notes accurately in the dental record.
Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to develop treatment plans and provide high-quality care.
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions with clear, empathetic communication.
Ensure compliance with all state regulations and office protocols for infection control and patient care.

Qualifications:
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing in the state of Texas
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatments, and patient care protocols.
Proficiency in taking and interpreting digital X-rays.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for ongoing learning and professional development.
