Dental Patient Coordinator

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

We are looking to add a front staff team member to our Smile Haus family! As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients as they navigate their treatment plans. The most important aspects to this role - what we are looking for in our candidate - is someone with top-notch customer service skills and professionalism. Not everyone likes to come to the dentist, so we are here to greet them with kindness and smiles!
Position: Patient Coordinator
Responsibilities:
* Create and coordinate treatment plans
* Schedule and coordinate appointments
* Communicate treatment plans, options, and financial considerations to patients
* Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding treatments and procedures.
* Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation.
* Provide support and guidance to patients throughout their treatment journey.
Qualifications:
* Must have at least 2 years of experience in a general dentist office; and Preferably 1-2 years of OM experience.
* Previous experience in a healthcare coordination or patient services role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
Experience in ORYX is a plus!
