Hygienist needed in Fairfield, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated dental hygienist to join our fast-paced, well-established general dental practice. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a professional who values high-quality, compassionate patient care and thrives in a dynamic team environment. Our work schedule is Wednesday-Saturday from 8am-6pm. Our practice serves a diverse and growing patient base, and we are expanding to meet increasing demand.

In this role, you will provide assisted hygiene services in a supportive clinical setting. You will typically see two patients at a time in separate rooms, spending approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour with each patient. This structure allows you to focus on delivering thorough care, patient education, and a positive experience while working efficiently within a collaborative team. A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach are essential.

Responsibilities include performing routine hygiene procedures, reviewing patient histories, charting accurately, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, and supporting the overall flow of the clinical schedule. Experience with Dentrix is preferred, as it will be used regularly for charting and practice management tasks. We are looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy general dentistry environment.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $75–$80 per hour, depending on skill and experience. In addition, the role includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring PTO, holiday pay, sick time, a Simple IRA, and continuing education opportunities. A one-hour lunch break is provided each day, and parking is available anywhere for convenience.
