looking for a dental assistant
LOCATION
Sidney, OHWe are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing general dentistry practice. This position is a great opportunity for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and supported during their dental visits. Our team provides care in a welcoming general dentist office, and we value strong communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
The ideal candidate should have a high school education and be comfortable assisting with a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Experience with temp crowns is required. Additional skills include alginate impressions, impressions, X-rays using digital systems, crowns/assisting, crowns/preparation, coronal polishing, and support with bridges. Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend and Carestream is highly preferred.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting the dentist during procedures, taking and processing digital X-rays, managing impressions, and helping maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day. You will also help ensure that all instruments and clinical areas are kept clean, organized, and ready for use.
We provide a safe and professional work environment with disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, and regular masks. This is a full-time position with a 1-hour lunch break. No cross-training is required.
