Pay: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience and clinical skills.

Schedule: 3–4 days per week preferred, with up to 5 days available for the right candidate.

Tooth Buds Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for an experienced, energetic, and motivated Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

We are seeking someone who is clinically confident, professional, outgoing, excellent with children, and passionate about creating an exceptional patient experience.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pediatric dentists with restorative procedures, extractions, and other clinical treatments.
- Assist with nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation (OCS), and IV sedation procedures.
- Perform prophylaxis and sealants within authorized scope.
- Take high-quality digital dental X-rays.
- Maintain excellent infection control, sterilization, and operatory readiness.
- Anticipate doctors' needs and support efficient patient flow.
- Create a positive, comfortable experience for children and parents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous hands-on pediatric dental assisting experience is REQUIRED.
- Active Texas RDA registration and applicable certifications.
- Strong understanding of pediatric dental procedures and behavior management.
- Ability to take dental X-rays and assist confidently with pediatric treatments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy pediatric dental environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience assisting with nitrous oxide, OCS, and IV sedation.
- Experience performing prophylaxis and sealants.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Interest in participating in school visits, community outreach, and marketing activities.
