Dental Assistant Position
LOCATION
San Diego, CAWe are seeking a dependable, friendly dental assistant to join a private, single-doctor dental office that provides general and pedodontic care. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment and is willing to help create a positive experience for children and adults alike.
Dental assisting experience is prefered but not required, as we are happy to train the right candidate. A high school education is expected. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting a variety of clinical and administrative duties and should be willing to work with kids. Cross-training is required, so flexibility and a team-oriented mindset are important.
Responsibilities may include assisting chairside, preparing treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, taking impressions or records as directed, and helping with daily office flow. Strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and attention to detail are important. Off-site parking is preferred, with on-site parking available on an as-needed basis. A lunch break is provided from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
This hourly position offers benefits once eligible, including 401(k), medical insurance, and paid vacation. We are looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and eager to grow in a supportive dental setting.
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday through Friday
Some Saturdays as needed
