Second Part-Time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
LOCATION
Atlanta, GAOur practice is seeking a motivated and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our culture-driven team on a part-time basis.
We are a fast-paced, patient-focused office with a strong team environment. Our goal is to find a long-term team member who is looking for a permanent dental home and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Work Schedule:
* Monday (PRN): 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
* Tuesday (PRN): 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
* Wednesday (PRN): 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
* Thursday: Off
* Friday (PRN): 7:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

* Previous dental experience preferred (we are willing to train the right candidate)
* Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification
* Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification
* Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for providers.
* Assist providers during dental procedures by anticipating their needs and passing instruments.
* Take and process dental X-rays.
* Prepare and process laboratory cases.
* Welcome patients and assist with scheduling appointments.
* Educate patients on recommended treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.
* Update and maintain accurate patient records.
* Perform general administrative and clinical duties to support the daily operations of the practice.
