Beck Family Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our thriving practice in Silver City, New Mexico. As a cornerstone of our dental team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral care and creating positive patient experiences in our comprehensive General Dentistry practice. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories and oral examinations.
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to enhance their understanding of dental health.
- Take and develop digital X-rays to assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure each patient receives tailored care, including the management of complex treatments like implants and Invisalign.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records using Open Dental software.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards in all procedures.

Qualifications:

- A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental hygiene role is preferred.
- Local anesthesia certification under general supervision is required.
- Proficiency in digital X-ray technology, as well as familiarity with implants and Invisalign procedures, is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
