LOCATION
Deltona, FLWe are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented dental hygienist to join a general dental practice in a full-time role. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who values quality patient care, strong clinical standards, and a positive team environment. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting overall oral health through preventive care, patient education, and consistent clinical excellence.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services while working closely with the dental team to help deliver a smooth and efficient patient experience. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend 50 minutes with each patient, allowing the time needed to deliver thorough care and maintain a high standard of service. Responsibilities will include routine prophylaxis, periodontal assessment and maintenance, oral health instruction, charting, and assisting with the development of individualized home care recommendations. A strong focus on communication, professionalism, and patient comfort is essential.
This is a full-time position in a general practice setting, offering a structured schedule and a supportive workplace environment. A lunch break is provided from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Parking is available in the back of the building for added convenience. The role offers compensation of $44 per hour.
We are looking for a candidate with a college-level education and the clinical knowledge expected of a professional dental hygienist. The ideal team member is dependable, organized, and able to build trust with patients while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail. Experience in general dentistry is valued, along with a commitment to patient-centered care and a willingness to contribute positively to the practice.
