Dental Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic dental assistant to support our orthodontist in delivering high-quality care. This is a hands-on role in a small practice where you'll be the primary assistant, managing a variety of clinical and patient-facing tasks.

Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures
Take x-rays, photos, and intraoral scans
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Prepare and clean treatment areas before and after patient visits
Manage inventory of supplies and place orders as necessary
Educate patients (and parents) on oral hygiene, appliance care, and maintenance of braces or aligners

Qualifications:
Valid X-ray license (DRT)
Previous experience as a dental / orthodontic assistant preferred (but we welcome motivated candidates with strong transferable skills)
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program is a plus
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Expected hours: 23 - 28 per week

Salary Range: $22 - 27 per hour
