Practice Ambassador / Front Desk Coordinator
W Plus Dental — Washington, DC
Full-time • In-office only
Be the warm, organized face of a fast-growing implant-focused practice. You’ll run the front of house, keep the day flowing, and partner with our remote Virtual Assistant (VA) who handles phones, insurance verifications, e-claims, and most back-office admin. You focus on exceptional in-person patient care.
What You’ll Do:
*Patient check-in/out: greet by name, verify IDs/insurance cards, ensure forms are complete, collect payments (cash/check/card), and schedule next visits.
*Present treatment plans (prepared with estimates) and confidently discuss portions due.
*Run the day: lead morning huddle materials, coordinate rooms/providers, manage walk-ins, deliveries, lab cases, and real-time issues.
*Records & referrals: handle in-person requests (the VA handles digital transfers).
*End-of-day close: balance the day sheet, batch credit cards, print next-day packets/signage.
*Service recovery: resolve in-person concerns with empathy and professionalism.
You won’t be buried in back-office tasks—our VA covers phones/voicemails, confirmations, eligibility & benefits, e-claims/attachments, recall campaigns, and A/R follow-ups.

Qualifications
*1–2+ years in dental front desk or medical office admin (required).
*Comfortable with a dental PMS
*Confident collecting payments and presenting estimates.
*Working knowledge of HIPAA and basic dental terminology.
*Nice-to-have: bilingual (Spanish/Korean/Chinese/Amharic/etc.).
Schedule & Comp
*Full-time, in-office (weekdays; exact hours set during interview).
*Compensation: Competitive hourly (based on experience) + monthly performance bonus, PTO/holidays, in-house dental perks, paid training.
