Chicago, ILWe are seeking an Expanded Functions dental assistant to join a busy, professional dental office serving a general, single-doctor practice that accepts PPO and private patients. This is a full-time position for a dependable team member with 2+ years of experience and an active EFDA license.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and confident in supporting a wide range of clinical procedures. Responsibilities include patient care, dental charting, assisting with crowns, root canals, restorative procedures, and Zoom whitening, as well as taking impressions, maintaining instrument sterilization, and helping with ordering supplies. Experience with Eaglesoft, iTero, Cerec restorations, coronal polishing, and expanded functions is highly valued. A strong understanding of dental terminology and attention to detail are essential. Required to have knowledge of placing fillings and adjusting.
We offer a professional work environment with street parking available, a 30-minute lunch break, and all necessary PPE provided, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and paid holidays. Compensation is $25–$29 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
