Krona Dentistry is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team! We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a modern, comfortable, and welcoming dental environment. We are seeking a team player who is organized, professional, and passionate about helping patients feel comfortable while supporting our clinical team.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including restorative and general dentistry.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control protocols.
Take dental X-rays as permitted by Texas regulations and applicable certifications.
Prepare operatories before and after patient appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records and update clinical notes in Open Dental software.
Navigate Open Dental to review patient information, update charts, and support daily clinical workflows.
Monitor patient flow and communicate effectively with the front office and clinical team.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment.
Follow OSHA guidelines and all applicable infection control standards.
Provide excellent patient care and help create a positive patient experience.
Qualifications & Special Skills
Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
Experience using Open Dental practice management software is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
Familiarity with digital X-rays and dental charting.
Understanding of sterilization, infection control, and OSHA protocols.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office.
Dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
Positive attitude and willingness to support the entire team.
Current certifications required for any duties performed under Texas regulations.
