Dental assistant
LOCATION
Westerly, RIWe are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented dental assistant to join a busy General Dentistry practice serving a diverse patient base. Our office is a multi-doctor environment with a strong focus on quality care, teamwork, and a smooth patient experience. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting clinical excellence and working in a professional, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures, taking and processing x-rays as directed, sterilizing instruments, maintaining infection control standards, and helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment. You will also support front-to-back office flow by keeping clinical areas organized and ready for the next appointment.
The ideal candidate has a high school education, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with both patients and team members. Previous dental office experience is helpful, but we are open to training the right person who is eager to learn and grow.
Our practice works with PPO and private patients and values professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate care. We provide necessary PPE, including goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to help maintain a safe work environment.
