Join Our Dynamic Dental Team as a Dental Hygienist!

We are a thriving general dental practice dedicated to providing a wide range of dental services while establishing lasting relationships with our patients. Our mission is simple: to prioritize patient health and ensure everyone leaves our office with confidence in their dental care. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. This position has become available due to the retirement of our cherished team member.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in patient care, focusing on creating a comforting and efficient atmosphere. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for our patient base, which includes a significant number of patients over 50 years of age.
- Utilizing your skills with Eaglesoft, Carestream, intraoral camera, and NOMAD Pro to enhance patient experience and streamline processes.
- Engaging in effective communication with patients to explain procedures and instill confidence in their treatment plans.
- Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless operations, especially during same-day treatments for patients experiencing pain or with time constraints.
- Utilizing protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to ensure patient and staff safety.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of one year of experience as a dental hygienist in a general practice setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Carestream.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education.
- Training in the use of diode lasers is a plus.
