Dental Hygienist

Our state-of-the-art private practice is seeking a Dental Hygienist in Des Plaines. We are looking for a candidate who is friendly, reliable, and team oriented. Responsibilities

· Maintain the highest level of professional standard of excellence in accordance with our office’s needs

· Carefully review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary

· Perform thorough prophylaxis

· Remove calculus, plaque, and stain

· Apply cavity-preventative agents such as fluorides and sealants

· Administer local anesthetic agents, if certified

· Utilize intra oral camera for patient education

· Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care

· Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

· Sterilize dental instruments

· Must be a great communicator and share important and vital information with the Doctor

· In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
