Schedule:
Monday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Tuesday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am - 2:00pm
Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
*Part-Time schedule would be Mondays, Tuesdays and half day on Wednesdays.

Job Requirements
EFDA Certification in the state of Indiana
Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
Collecting patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)
Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
Placing of composite restoration under the dentist supervision
Fabrication of temporary crowns
Scanning to lab for various dental procedures
Post op instructions
Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)
Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery
Completes approved procedures validated through the Dental Board such as placement of amalgam, composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, etc.
Proficiency with dental software (Denticon experience is a plus)
Follow properly issued instructions/directions regarding patient flow and manage the flow of patients to schedule/maximize the doctor’s time if applicable
