Temp Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Enhance Dental is a patient-centric family dental practice located in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking a Temporary Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team full-time Tuesdays-Fridays while our assistant is out on medical leave. This position will be effective from October 1st-January 2nd. We are a small office that works great as a team and offer a variety of services including general, endo, oral surgery, ortho and Invisalign. Our ideal Temp Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) will have a positive attitude, work well in a team setting and be passionate about their job. Schedule: This position will be effective from October 1st-January 2nd
Mondays- CLOSED
Tuesdays-Thursdays 7am-5pm
Fridays- 7am -3pm

Rate: $23-$25/hr

Responsibilities:
*Welcome patients to the dental office
*Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
*Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
*Sterilize instruments according to regulations
*Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
*Undertake lab tasks as instructed
*Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
*Keep the operatories clean and well-stocked
*Schedule appointments
*Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
*Order dental supplies and keep track of dental supply inventory

Skills:
*Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
*Understanding of health & safety regulations
*Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
*Strong computer skills- Denticon experience is a plus!
*Excellent communication skills
*Attention to detail
*Well-organized and reliable

Requirements
*Active RDA license in the state of Texas
*Active CPR Certification
*2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
*Bi-Lingual (Spanish) and Ortho experience is a plus!
*High school diploma
