We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our family dental practice. Our office is committed to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, and we pride ourselves on fostering a warm, inviting environment where families feel comfortable and valued.

As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the oral health of our patients. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive dental cleanings, taking precise digital x-rays, and educating patients and their families about proper oral hygiene practices. With an hour dedicated to adult hygiene and a half-hour for children, you will have the time you need to deliver personalized care that addresses each patient’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Take and develop digital x-rays, ensuring accuracy and clarity for effective diagnosis.
- Document patient treatment and maintain accurate health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with our solo dentist to create individualized care plans and contribute to a team-oriented practice.

Qualifications:
- An active dental hygiene license in the state of Connecticut.
- A graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- A commitment to staying current with dental trends and technologies.
- Experience with dental software and digital x-ray systems is a plus.
