We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join a professional dental team in a general dental office serving a diverse patient base. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and is committed to delivering high-quality preventive care. Our practice environment includes general dentistry, orthodontics, multi-specialty services, single-doctor and multi-doctor operations, as well as PPO and private patient care, with endodontic support as part of the clinical mix.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in dental hygiene and bring a strong foundation in patient education, clinical efficiency, and chairside professionalism. We are looking for someone who can provide thorough cleanings, periodontal assessments, and preventive treatments while helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach are essential.
Responsibilities include performing dental hygiene procedures in accordance with clinical standards, reviewing medical and dental histories, taking and charting periodontal measurements, assisting with oral health education, and supporting the dental team in maintaining an organized and positive treatment environment. Experience with Open Dental is required, as accurate documentation and efficient use of practice management software are important parts of this role.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively with both doctors and support staff in a collaborative clinical setting. Because the practice serves a broad range of patients and treatment needs, adaptability and professionalism are key. A college-level education in dental hygiene or a related field is expected, along with the clinical skills and judgment needed to contribute to excellent patient care.
This is an hourly position offering the opportunity to work in a well-rounded general dental office with a strong emphasis on quality, teamwork, and patient satisfaction. If you are ready to bring your experience, technical skill, and commitment to preventive care to a dynamic dental environment, this role offers a rewarding next step in your career.
