As a private practice owned by a dedicated dentist who lives right in the neighborhood, we pride ourselves on creating lasting relationships with our patients, from children to adults. Our office is a warm and welcoming environment, ideal for those who enjoy a collaborative team atmosphere.
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our small, dynamic team. In this part-time role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the oral health of our community while working in an environment that values professional development and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients, focusing on thorough assessments, preventative treatments, and periodontal therapy.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene practices, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Build rapport with patients of all ages, understanding their individual needs and concerns.
- Work closely with the dentist and the rest of the team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment planning.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist, preferably in a general or private practice setting.
- Certification as a dental hygienist and a valid state license.
- Comfort with treatment planning and educating patients, particularly regarding periodontal disease management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
