We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented dental hygienist to join our busy, patient-focused dental office on a full-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for a college-educated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality preventive and therapeutic care. Our practice includes General Dentistry as well as advanced procedures such as root canal therapy, bone grafting, extractions, implant placement, and cosmetic dentistry. We serve a diverse patient base in a multi-doctor setting with a strong mix of PPO and private patients.
The ideal candidate brings both clinical skill and excellent communication abilities. In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene care, patient education, periodontal support, and preventive services while helping maintain a smooth, efficient clinical flow. We value a team member who can work comfortably with dentists and assistants in a fast-paced, modern environment and contribute to a positive patient experience at every visit.
Responsibilities include performing prophy, scaling and root planing, periodontal screening and treatment, gingivitis screening and treatment, oral cancer and oral pathology screening, fluoride treatment, sealants, whitening services, and patient recall. You will also assist with itero scans, charting, treatment planning support, sterilization procedures. Experience with advanced technologies and systems such as Dentrix Ascend, DEXIS, and iTero is highly valued, along with familiarity with lasers, nitrous oxide monitoring, and vital signs monitoring.
The successful candidate will have skills in air polishing, cavitron and ultrasonic scaling, local anesthesia, antimicrobial placement, antibiotic therapy, Arestin, Atridox, Periochip placement, chlorhexidine, and soft tissue management. Knowledge of cosmetic and restorative procedures including implants, fixed and removable prosthodontics, Invisalign, veneers, and whitening systems such as Zoom Whitening is a plus. Additional strengths such as bilingual communication, CPR certification, pediatric hygiene experience, and strong file maintenance and patient record management are also highly appreciated.
