All duties within scope of license such as but not limited to:
- Assist the dentist, hygienist, and RDAEF2 during dental procedures
- Take and digital dental X-rays
- Itero scan
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
- Take and record patients' vital signs
Answer phones
Schedule appointments
Collect payments
Prepare consent forms
Skills:
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and CT scans
- Strong assisting skills, including chairside assistance during procedures
- Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience or be eager to learn various aspects of dental assisting, including X-ray taking, infection control, and digital intra oral scans. Helping support the front office is a requirement of this position.
