Weekend Emergency Dentist, Part Time - Downtown Des Moines
LOCATION
Des Moines, IAKeep your weekday job. We're hiring a licensed dentist for weekend emergency coverage at our modern office in downtown Des Moines (801 Grand Ave).
Saturdays and Sundays, with an occasional Friday or Monday, about 4 to 6 days a month. Built to sit alongside a weekday schedule.
Why it works for a newer dentist: you don't have to finish the endo. Our most endo-experienced doctor handles obturation. You do the access and prep, hand it off, and it gets finished. Recent grads (2025 and 2026) are especially welcome; our newer dentists have been our strongest producers here.
Compensation
- $1,100 per day minimum guarantee, plus tiered production pay
- $2,000 signing bonus
- Fee for service, and weekend emergency fees run higher, so there's real room above the guarantee
The office
- Modern office with CBCT
- Trained weekend support staff who only do emergency care
- Free parking
You
- Iowa dental license, or license-eligible. If you took CRDTS or ADEX, Iowa will license you on the boards you already took, and we'll cover the application cost.
- Comfortable with common emergencies: extractions, endo access and pulpotomy, temporization, pain and infection
Open to dentists within about three hours of Des Moines.
We also pay $1,000 to whoever refers the dentist we hire, at their one-year mark.
