Busy State of the art Oral Surgery practice with 2 locations looking for full or part time dynamic X-ray certified dental Assistants. Must have excellent organization skills, communication skills, computer skills , conflict resolution, critical thinking and major attention to detail. Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Take Digital X-rays (2D and 3D) and digital scans
• Set up and assist with all oral surgery procedures
• Assist with nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation cases
• sterilize instruments and clean operatories’according to state / federal guidelines using OSHA
• Review and complete medical history/registration forms and chart doctor notes
• Obtain vital signs and document in chart
• Complete consent forms according to surgical procedure
• Provide pre and post-operative care instructions
• Clean dental treatment rooms according to State , Federal and OSHA Guidelines
• Stock Dental treatment rooms Daily/
Clean machines/ spore testing/monitor radiation badges
• Understanding of health & safety regulation’s using Universal Precautions , handling of bio hazardous waste, and Radiation Safety
• Excellent computer skills
Experience:
• 1 year Dental Assisting Required
License/Certification:
• X-Ray Certification Required in The State of Maryland
*Cpr certification a plus *
*Bilingual A Plus*
