Associate Dentist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in oral surgery, and endodontics. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and software. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA. Prior experience in dental office settings and proficiency in medical documentation are highly valued.

Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using dental terminology and medical terminology to diagnose oral health issues.
Deliver a wide range of dental treatments including general dentistry procedures, Endo a plus.
Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
Conduct patient care activities such as patient assessment, treatment planning, and providing education on oral health maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to perform four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Adhere to all safety protocols related to infection control and medical imaging procedures within the clinic environment.

Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid Maryland state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment and education.
