Dental Assistant for Pedo Office

We are looking for an English+Spanish (or Urdu or Arabic) speaking RDA who is a team player and can help our team give the patients a positive experience. Ability to assist in pedo office required, treatment presenting and office skills a major plus!

Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Assist doctor with strong chairside assistance, thinking ahead for what is needed.
- Take, develop, and mount X-rays.
- Take impressions of dentures for dental appliances.
- Perform procedures to compile with infection control policies and prepare operatories for patient treatment.
- Accurately and completely report and document status, care rendered, response to care, provider orders, contacts with patient and/or other healthcare providers.
- Maintain patient follow up procedures.
- Assist front desk staff when needed.
- Complete all direct and indirect care documentation in a timely manner and ensure patient records are current and complete.
- Attend daily patient care huddles and periodic informational huddles, meetings, patient conferences, or planning sessions.
- Maintain all licensure and/or certification requirements for continuing education and best practices.

Knowledge/Qualifications:
- Current RDA
- 2+ years dental assisting in fast pace pedo office
- Experience with OpenDental software
- Additional experience treatment coordinating a plus

Languages: (required)
- English + Spanish or Urdu or Arabic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay: Based upon experience
Hours: 24-32 hours a week
