Dental Patient Coordinator

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

We are looking to add a front staff team member to our Smile Haus family! As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients as they navigate their treatment plans. The most important aspects to this role - what we are looking for in our candidate - is someone with top-notch customer service skills and professionalism. Not everyone likes to come to the dentist, so we are here to greet them with kindness and smiles!

Position: Patient Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Create and coordinate treatment plans
Schedule and coordinate appointments
Communicate treatment plans, options, and financial considerations to patients
Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding treatments and procedures.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation.
Provide support and guidance to patients throughout their treatment journey.
Qualifications:

Must have at least 2 years of experience in a general dentist office; and Preferably 1-2 years of OM experience.
Previous experience in a healthcare coordination or patient services role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
Experience in ORYX is a plus!
