Are you a passionate and experienced dental hygienist looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and innovative dental practice? We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team with flexible hours in our general, single doctor, and private practice setting.
As a dental hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming environment, where you would be "family" to our staff and our patients.
We're ideally looking for someone available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays, with Monday and Wednesday availability being our highest priority.
Our office hours are:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
We're flexible with scheduling and happy to work with the right candidate. On our longer days, we offer a 1 hour lunch break.
We offer a competitive hourly wage starting at $55 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on experience. Our staff enjoy on-site parking for convenience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains while educating patients about proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Conduct thorough assessments and charting of patients' dental health, including taking and developing radiographs as needed.
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to our patients' needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and respond to patient questions and concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting is required.
- An active state dental hygiene license and current CPR certification.
- Eaglesoft software experience preferred but willing to train.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and team members.
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care and a positive patient experience.
