**Eldridge Dental is growing, and we are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team.**

We are specifically open to **new graduates and candidates who are early in their dental careers**. Experience is always a plus, but it is not the most important thing to us. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn. **If you bring the right attitude, we are willing to invest the time to train you.**

Our office provides general dentistry as well as periodontal, surgical, and specialty procedures, giving the right candidate an opportunity to gain experience in many different areas of dentistry.

## What You’ll Learn & Do

As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our doctors and clinical team to provide excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities may include:

- Assisting the doctor chairside during dental procedures
- Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining proper infection-control protocols
- Taking digital X-rays
- Taking intraoral photographs and digital scans
- Preparing materials and equipment for procedures
- Documenting treatment and maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing patients with treatment and post-operative instructions
- Helping maintain an organized and efficient clinical area
- Supporting other team members when needed
- Creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

## Preferred Qualifications

- Dental Assistant training or certification preferred
- Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Dental radiology qualifications as required
- Previous dental office experience is helpful but not required

## Schedule & Compensation

**Full-time position**
