Insurance coordination specialist

Prestige Dental in Spring is in search of a insurance verification specialist to help us to continue to provide our Excellent, In-Demand Dental Services!

This role also requires a basic understanding of pre-authorizations, financial reporting, and customer service to assist patients with billing questions and payment plans.

Insurance and claims management:

Submit insurance claims and pre-determinations electronically and on paper.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
Follow up on outstanding claims and pre-authorizations with insurance companies.
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve payment delays or denied claims.

Patient financial coordination:

Conduct financial consultations with patients to explain treatment plans and costs.
Assist patients in establishing payment plans and scheduling appointments.
Prepare and mail monthly patient statements and handle collection calls for overdue balances.
Maintain accurate financial records for patients.

Administrative and communication tasks:

Answer phones and respond to patient and insurance company inquiries.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient appointments.
Document all financial discussions and insurance updates in patient files.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff to ensure proper documentation for claims.

Saturdays 9-2 (We open one Saturday a month. The week with the open saturday, it would open from Tuesday - Saturday)
