Part-Time Third Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Needed
LOCATION
Atlanta, GAOur growing office is seeking a motivated and compassionate third Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our culture-driven team part-time. We are a fast-paced, patient-focused practice with a strong team atmosphere, and we are excited to add another assistant to help support our providers and patients as our office continues to grow.
We are looking for a long-term team member who is eager to learn, grow professionally, and become a valued part of our dental family.
Work Schedule
Monday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Lunch 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. PRN)
Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Lunch 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. PRN)
Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Lunch 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. PRN)
Thursday: Off
Friday: 7:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (No lunch, PRN)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A patient-focused approach to care
* A dependable and hard-working personality
* Dental assisting experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
* Current CDA and EDDA certification
* Current CPR certification
Daily Responsibilities Include
* Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring equipment is ready for providers
* Assisting providers during procedures by anticipating needs and handing instruments
* Taking and processing patient X-rays
* Processing and managing lab work for providers
* Greeting patients and assisting with scheduling appointments
* Educating patients on recommended treatment and post-operative care
* Updating and maintaining patient health records
* Assisting with administrative and general office duties to support practice efficiency
