As a part-time dental hygienist in our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing cleanings, scaling and root planing (SRP), fluoride application, and taking digital x-rays. In addition to your technical skills, you will have the opportunity to create tailored treatment plans and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Your contribution will not only enhance patient outcomes but also foster an environment of trust and education.
Our office is equipped with the latest technology, including Cavitrons, intraoral cameras, and DEXIS digital x-ray sensors, ensuring you have the tools you need to deliver top-notch care. You will also be working with Dentrix software and the Sirona PAN/CBT machine.
To succeed in this role, excellent verbal communication skills are essential, along with a basic understanding of HIPAA privacy rules. A current CT Dental Hygiene license is required, along with current CPR certification. We seek someone with experience in air polishing, calculus removal, gingivitis treatment, oral cancer screening, and more.
Our part-time position requires you to work 2-3 days per week during our office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, extending to 7:00 pm on Tuesdays. You will see one patient at a time, allowing you to provide personalized attention and care.
