We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our modern dental practice in Palatine, where we proudly treat both children and adults in all phases of dentistry. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment that values patient care and professional growth.
As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care. You will see patients one at a time, allowing for a focused and personalized approach. Our typical appointment times include 60 minutes for routine recare visits, 60 to 90 minutes for scaling and root planing (SRP) depending on complexity, and 75 to 90 minutes for new patients. This structure allows you to provide thorough treatment while maintaining excellent patient relationships.
We are looking for a candidate who is organized and possesses strong communication skills, both with our team and our patients. A professional demeanor and a solid understanding of dental terminology are essential. Experience with patient assessment and record management is preferred, but we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn. Familiarity with dental software is beneficial, though we provide training to ensure you are comfortable with our systems.
This part-time position is ideal for those looking to balance work and personal life while contributing to a growing practice. We believe in hygiene autonomy, empowering you to take charge of your patient care. You will enjoy a one-hour lunch break to recharge and regroup during your workday.
