Part-time/Full-time Dental Assistant for General Practice
LOCATION
East Longmeadow, MAJoin our caring dental team where patients feel like family and our staff feel at home. We are a small, professional, compassionate, fun, and friendly practice seeking an experienced team member to support our growing general dentistry office. This is a full-time opportunity in a multi-doctor practice serving PPO and private patients.
The ideal candidate is reliable, upbeat, and able to multi-task in a busy clinical setting. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to educate patients about procedures and help them feel comfortable during their visit. New graduates are welcome to apply if they have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities include chairside assistance, four-handed dentistry, patient charting, dental charting, taking impressions, temporary crown fabrication, coronal polishing, instrument sterilization, infection control, sterile procedures, and patient recall support. Additional tasks may include radiology and digital x-rays, use of DEXIS, Schick, Gendex, KaVo, and intraoral cameras, as well as Curve DMS and Dentrix charting. Experience with patient education, treatment planning, denture and restorative support, cosmetic procedures, extractions, root canals, whitening, and expanded functions is valued. CPR certification and knowledge of dental terminology are preferred.
