If you're a hygienist, you already know how rare this is.

A single column. Sixty minutes for established recare. Ninety minutes for SRPs. No double-booking, no bouncing between two rooms, no getting rushed through a recall so the schedule can stay full. Just you and one patient at a time, with enough time to do the careful, thorough work you were trained to do. We are doctor-owned. Not a DSO. There is no corporate office setting your production targets. There is no regional manager reviewing your perio percentage. Dr. Matt Parker owns this practice and works in it, and that is the whole reason the schedule looks the way it does.

We are looking to fill four days of hygiene at our Thunderbird office. That can be one hygienist taking all four or two hygienists splitting them, so take as many or as few days as fit your life.

What you'll do
-Provide thorough preventive care: prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, radiographs, and periodontal charting, in compliance with the Arizona Dental Practice Act
-Build real relationships with patients, many of whom have been with us for decades
-Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care
-Document accurately, including vital signs, medical and dental histories, and chart notes
-Maintain a clean, safe operatory and follow all infection-control protocols
-Support the doctor with dental and medical emergencies, keeping CPR certification current

What we offer
-$54.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience
-$1,000 sign-on bonus, paid at 90 days
-A single-column schedule with 60-minute recare and 90-minute SRP appointments
-$500 annual continuing education credit
-Paid Time Off. Take all four days and you qualify as regular part-time with 60 hours of PTO per year, front-loaded quarterly. Take fewer days and you accrue as you work.
