Position Available: Part-Time Dental Hygienist
Are you a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist looking to join a dynamic team in a general dentistry practice? We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill a part-time position while our valued dental hygienist is on maternity leave. Key Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an integral role in our practice, focusing on patient health and wellness. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Performing comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Conducting oral health education and promoting preventive care.
- Utilizing the Open Dental software for patient records management.
- Assisting with radiographic examinations and interpreting results.
- Collaborating with our dental team to provide exceptional care and tailor treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment:
Our practice offers a supportive and friendly atmosphere where team members are respected and valued for their contributions. To ensure your safety and comfort, we provide a full range of personal protective equipment including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Parking is conveniently available in our lot, making your commute easy.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- A valid state dental hygiene license.
- Proficiency in Open Dental software and eagerness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages.
