Our current part time hygienist position will be available in a few weeks and we are looking for the right fit. The majority of our patients have been seen for 10 years plus. Personality matters for this position.
We are looking for someone who is self motivated. Intuitive. Plays nice with others. Willing to step into the system and process that works for our office. Delights in patient education.
We are not corporate. Single owner. Busy practice. We run a modified accelerated schedule.
8-9 patients a day unless there is SRP which would reduce that number.

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
Assist with chairside procedures in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow during patient visits.
Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, maintaining accuracy and adhering to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary recommendations, and post-treatment care to enhance long-term health outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office standards.
Support infection control practices through aseptic technique, sterilization procedures, and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Experience
Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures and experience providing care to pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort, education, and building trustful relationships.
Knowledge of infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and HIPAA compliance to ensure safety and confidentiality at all times.
