Hygienist Part Time

Lone Tree, COJoin Our Family Practice as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and dynamic family practice. Our office provides a well-rounded approach to dental care, encompassing various specialties including general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, and multi-specialty care. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our diverse patient base, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention in a warm and welcoming environment.
As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our team, providing comprehensive care and education to our patients. You will typically work with one patient at a time, allowing you to build rapport and ensure that each patient receives the highest quality of care, spending 45-60 minutes per appointment. Your responsibilities will include performing dental charting, conducting gingivitis screenings and treatments, administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, and providing thorough oral cancer screenings and hygiene instruction. You will also assist in treatment planning, scheduling, and managing patient recall systems.
To thrive in this role, you should possess a valid hygiene license and hold at least 2-5 years of experience in a dental setting. Proficiency in skills such as periodontal screening and treatment, scaling and root planing, and digital X-rays using advanced technology is essential. Experience with dental software such as Denticon and Planmecca will be beneficial.
Our office values the health and safety of both our patients and staff. We provide personal protective equipment (PPE) including disposable gowns, face shields, nitrile gloves, and regular masks to ensure a safe working environment.
